Communication

The DIDComm protocol

DIDComm is a cross-community effort to standardize common capabilities anchored with decentralized identifiers (DIDs). It is a set of protocols and formats that enable different DID methods to interoperate with each other and with other systems that leverage DIDs. DIDComm specifications are being driven by the Decentralized Identity Foundation.

DIDComm Messaging is a powerful way for people, institutions, and IoT things to interact via machine-readable messages, using DIDComm features. For example, the Blocktrust Identity Wallet can establish DIDComm connections with other DIDComm agents, and exchange end-to-end encrypted messages with them.
